Belgian scale-up Bizzy raises €4 million to expand its AI Sales Agent across Europe

Ghent-based Bizzy, an AI-powered sales platform for sales and marketing teams, has raised €4 million in fresh funding to roll out its new AI Sales Agent across the rest of Europe.
The round is led by Fortino Capital, with several prominent figures from the Ghent Tech ecosystem joining in, including the Founders of Silverfin, Lighthouse, Teamleader, and Henchman. Existing investors such as Pitchdrive have also reinvested.
“You don’t hire salespeople to spend their days building and enriching lead lists. Their focus should be on building relationships and working with customers to find solutions. That has always been our belief, and we’re now taking it further with new technologies that make it possible,” says Hendrik Keeris, Co-founder of Bizzy.
Bizzy was founded in 2021, based on the belief that sales professionals lose too much valuable time searching for the right prospects. That spending hours manually building and researching lists, can end up with leads they have little confidence in – often missing the momentum that is so crucial for effective sales.
To address this problem, Bizzy built a smart platform that looks to make lead generation faster and more effective. It helps companies quickly identify high-quality prospects -without the usual manual work. The platform is powered by enriched company data, drawn from a database of over 34 million European businesses and 76 million professional contacts.
“Bizzy automates the entire lead generation process – from identifying and qualifying to researching, enriching, and continuously following up with inbound and outbound leads. We enable sales professionals to secure high-quality meetings they can trust,” Keeris explains.
Since then, Bizzy has grown into a scale-up with over 500 paying customers each month. The company currently employs 35 people. More than 10,000 sales professionals use the platform every month to find, qualify, and research new potential customers.
“Where we previously focused on market intelligence, we’re now taking a major step towards a platform that automates the entire go-to-market process. Both sales and marketing teams can use Bizzy to generate leads. Our solution integrates seamlessly with most CRMs and prospecting tools. Data remains at our core: we’re still one of the largest European players with our own business data model,” Keeris continues.
Their vision has led to the launch of the AI Sales Agent: an intelligent assistant that identifies, qualifies, and enriches both inbound and outbound leads – with context on why they are relevant and how to approach them. The agent makes autonomous decisions based on the product offering, sales strategy, pipeline, and customer base. According to the company, the more sales teams use it, the smarter and more targeted its recommendations become.
