Sweden and Poland are taken to court by the EU
Luxembourg – The EU Commission is taking Sweden to court for not sufficiently implementing the rules on European arrest warrants.
The Commission warned Sweden on this issue back in 2021 and returned last year with further complaints, including about the possibilities for the issuer of the warrant to interrogate or temporarily transfer individuals.
Poland is also being brought before the EU court in the same matter.
