Commission: Disbursement of €3.13 billion to Greece under the Recovery and Resilience Facility

The representative of the Commission Maciej Berestetski at the beginning of the European Commission’s press conference spoke about the good news that exists and referred to Greece, to the disbursement of 3.13 billion euros, within the framework of the Recovery and Resilience Facility, as well as the remarkable progress of the Greek economy in achieving this.

“Today, therefore, the European Commission has disbursed 3.13 billion euros to Greece under the Recovery and Resilience Facility.” As Mr. Berestetski said, “Greece has made remarkable progress in achieving 28 key milestones and 4 significant targets. This financial support will play a crucial role in strengthening the country, in infrastructure and services. Greece has already upgraded its electricity, has proceeded with the rationalization of the network as well as administrative processes with the expansion of digital services,” emphasizing that these are just some of the improvements in the country.

The Commission representative stated that “the Recovery and Resilience Fund facilitates and significantly contributes to the assistance of member states,” emphasizing that “so far we have disbursed more than 300 billion euros to our member states.” (2/5/25)
